STAFF at a Fylde eaterie are raising a glass to its re-opening.
More than 200 guests are expected to attend the launch of the new Hastings Eating and Drinking House in Lytham as the new owners roll out the red carpet to celebrate its opening on Friday.
The former Sparling bar and restaurant has new owners which rescued the historic venue from administration in the summer.
Trevor and James Allan are behind the ambitious plans and have promised a better future for the bar.
The Allan family are the founders behind MBL Group, a multi-million pound turnover business based in Leyland, where Trevor is chief executive.
And to celebrate the launch, guests will be able to toast the success of The Hastings with its very own named ale.
The unique ale is brewed exclusively by Lytham Brewery for Hastings patrons and will be officially launched on the night by head brewer and Lytham entrepreneur James Booker.
Warrick Dodds, head chef at The Hastings, said: “Our official opening promises to be a night to remember – a celebration of our recent refurbishment and the launch of the Hastings real ale, all-new wine lists and my seasonally inspired menus for the autumn and pre-Christmas period.
“I’m confident The Hastings offers a combination of quality and value for money which is now unbeatable anywhere else on the Fylde.
“We’ve worked hard and invested heavily to create a venue that offers something for everyone.”
